About Us

The Electrician Network

Was formed in 2010 and is committed to consumer’s safety in the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors. The aim of the organisation is to ensure that through the professionalism of our members.
Consumers can be confident of the highest standards of work that comply with the relevant electrical and building regulations.

The Electricians Network members are active tradesmen in the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors and are assessed by the T.E.N. in the electrical installation contracting industry.
We operate a comprehensive and rigorous code of practice for our members; each member must be on the approved register of Approved Government Competent Person Scheme which ensures that the work they undertake in the domestic sector complies with the building regulations and have all appropriate insurances, training and government approved documentation.

The Electricians Network members operate a No Money up Front Policy for our Domestic customers, only a agreed method of payment between the householder and the electrician, so before you issue work to a electrician make sure the electrician is a member of the T. E.N. and holds a identity card which shows who they are and what work they are qualified to carry out, and their membership is valid and up to date, as this may affect any assistance from The Electricians Network in the issue of a complaint etc.

The Electricians Network operates the ‘First ever’ anti cowboy work quality guarantee scheme which covers works that are notified to the T.E.N. before the installation commencers.
An electrical installation can be safe, comply with the regulations and still be poorly installed, which is why The Electricians Network offer the First work quality guarantee scheme by our members, should a member install an electrical installation which you are not satisfied with then if you followed our complaints procedure our members will rectify that work.
Unlike other registered schemes our members must sign up for our work quality guarantee scheme.
